It’s just how it is.
That’s one of the things having cancer taught me. Life throws obstacles at you every day, and it’s hard, and terrifying, and you don’t always get what you want.
You have to fight. You have to fight harder than anything in this lifetime to overcome everything that is thrown at you.
You have to never give up.
Never let go of this life.
Because when you finally overcome an obstacle, it feels so amazing. Utterly amazing.
So, sure, life isn’t easy. But it sure is rewarding.
Because THAT is hard. That is incredibly hard.
But I never say it. Because no matter how hard it was, it was my battle, not theirs. And they think that their battle is hard, so I’ll let them. Who am I to judge how tough it is to them?
